The sweater was knit by Lorraine Ehrlinger as part of a Knit Along. The group was following the guidelines in Ethnic Knitting Discovery and chose a Norwegian sweater. Lorraine used patterns from an old Alice Starmore book on Colour Patterns. She blogged about the progress of the knitting and the steek process. The wool is fingering weight, vintage Candide. The light green is Matchmaker from Jaeger. The design is an original, designed for Lorraine herself. |
